The new year sees the start of many new projects, many of which it is hoped will be completed in time for the Spring Gala in March.
The new Gift Shop at BHW Station which is progressing steadily and is close to the installation of shelving units. The area vacated by the old shop will also need redecorating for THE SIDINGS CAFE extension.
Inside the heritage centre work continues on schedule with the Steam Crane boiler, the Sentinel is being prepared for removal of wheel for off-site returning. Whilst the cattle truck and ex-Seaham hopper are in for refurbishment by the Junior Team
