On April 16th 2011 the Industrial Railway Society choose to hold their AGM at Chasewater Railway.
The official unveiling of the Eric Tonks nameplate collection which the IRS has kindly placed on loan to the railways museum also took place.
The weather was superb and we were able to run three steam locomotives and four diesels on passenger trains, guards van rides, footplate rides and shunting in the yard at BHW for their members.
The Chasewater Narrow Gauge Railway also ran train throughout the day using a Hunslet and manrider as well as running several other locos along their sidings.
